I'm a global social media specialist with over five years experience across social, editorial, and commercial. I specialise in social media strategies that drive brands forward, allowing their platforms to engage and grow at powerful rates. I employ a 360° content approach beginning with data analysis, through to production, working with global talent, expertise in content distribution across multiple platforms with different audiences, and ending again with data analysis to inform future decision making. I can do anything that marries creativity with social media to generate results.
I have just returned to Melbourne from working on the frontline of social media inIn London, where I worked for leading global publisher Dazed Media, in particular leading the social transformation of global video platform NOWNESS. Upon returning to Melbourne, I now work with brands across art, architecture and design, with the aim of bringing their social presence closer to culture as I believe it's the most powerful form of social storytelling. I was a strong witness to this during my time and impact with brands in London, and I'm very passionate about bringing this home to an Australian landscape.
I have worked at Dazed Media for nearly four years. I was Social Media Manager of Dazed Media's forerunning video platform NOWNESS, managing the upkeep and distribution of films and cultural content across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and more. My multifaceted role is divided between social strategy, data analysis, content creation, social first collaboration with creatives and activists, branded campaigns, design, and asset creation to ensure the rapidly increasing growth of the NOWNESS platforms and their reach and engagement.
My passion is communicating a brand’s essence through the wonder of creativity and I consider this one of the most powerful forms of communication in the world.
I'm also an art writer for publications like Dazed, Dazed Beauty Re-edition/Replica, and AnOther and a freelance commercial art writer for brands like G-Star, Ballantine’s, Sonia Rykiel, Huawei, and Beats By Dre.
